This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.

ProteGuard is designed as a sensor-based safety detection system. The app collects the following information to provide its safety services:

• Motion sensor data (accelerometer and gyroscope readings), processed on your device.
• GPS location coordinates, used only when you consent or during an active SOS event.
• Anonymized sensor patterns, collected only with your explicit opt-in consent.
• Emergency contact information (names and phone numbers), stored securely and used exclusively to send alerts on your behalf.
• SOS event logs, stored on your device and transmitted to our servers only when an alert is triggered.
• Basic device identifiers used to associate your profile with your account.

We use the information we collect solely to provide ProteGuard's safety services. Specifically:

• Processing is on-device whenever possible. Sensor data is analyzed locally on your device.
• Data is only sent when you trigger an SOS or when the system detects a high-risk event.
• Emergency contacts are stored securely and only used for alerts.
• We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to your personal safety.

• No data is sold or shared with third parties.
• Emergency contact information is used solely to send SOS alerts to the contacts you have designated. Your contacts receive alerts only when you trigger or authorize an SOS event.
• TRUEic LLC does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal information to any outside party.

You have full control over the data ProteGuard collects:

• You can disable any individual sensor (motion, location, microphone, network) at any time through the Settings screen.
• You can opt out of anonymized data sharing at any time.
• You can delete all of your data from our servers by selecting "Delete My Data" in the Settings screen.
• You can revoke app permissions at any time through your device's operating system settings.

TRUEic LLC takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Emergency contact information is stored using encrypted local storage. Transmitted data uses industry-standard secure communications protocols.

ProteGuard is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@tru3ic.com.

TRUEic LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
